Robin Luo, APAC CEO of the New Zealand-origin children's nutrition brand Little Umbrella, recently attended a networking dinner in New Zealand, where he met and was photographed with Prime Minister Christopher Luxon. According to the brand, Luo shared Little Umbrella's direction of building on its New Zealand roots while focusing on children's nutrition, together with its long-term vision of connecting with markets across Asia and beyond.
A face-to-face exchange with genuine warmth
During the conversation, Luo introduced Luxon to Little Umbrella's work in the children's nutrition space, as well as the team's thinking on product development, quality management and localization for international markets. For Little Umbrella, the most important significance of the meeting was connecting a New Zealand approach to children's nutrition with the needs of families around the world.
Photographs from the event captured the exchange, the group photo and a display of brand materials. According to the brand's on-site record, Luxon also inscribed “To Little Umbrella” and signed an All Blacks commemorative jersey. That keepsake, carrying a distinctly New Zealand mark, adds special meaning to Little Umbrella's continued push into international markets.

Bringing New Zealand professionalism, responsibility and a long-term mindset to the world
Little Umbrella has long focused on children's nutrition. Starting from children's real needs and families' everyday routines, the brand looks closely at ingredient sourcing, scientific evidence, children's palatability and ease of use. In its view, going global is not simply about selling products in more countries; it is about building long-term trust in every market through stronger product evidence, more rigorous quality management and service approaches that better fit local family habits.
Little Umbrella is currently advancing its footprint across Australia and New Zealand, Southeast Asia and North America. Going forward, the brand will keep investing in regulatory access, product localization, channel partnerships, consumer communication and after-sales service, so that a New Zealand children's nutrition choice can serve families in more countries and regions.
“For Little Umbrella, this exchange is both a precious encouragement and a responsibility. We want the world to see that a New Zealand brand can offer not only outstanding natural resources, but also a scientific, long-term and responsible way of creating real value for families with children around the world. Going forward, we will keep making our products better, going deeper in every market, and building Little Umbrella into a children's nutrition brand that families worldwide can trust.” — Robin Luo, APAC CEO of Little Umbrella

From one exchange to a clearer path to going global
From New Zealand to a growing number of overseas markets, Little Umbrella is shaping a clearer international path: staying committed to children's nutrition as its core focus, building on product strength, putting compliance and a long-term mindset first, and working with professional partners to bring more suitable nutrition solutions to families worldwide. This dinner exchange was a warm moment along that long road, and it further strengthened the brand's resolve to keep moving forward on the world stage.
